Welcome to the £1000 cash prize tournament page.

On June 23rd Playfiveaside will be celebrating its 3 year anniversary and what better way to celebrate than organise a tournament and give away some money and have all profits donated to charities of your choice.

Playfiveaside is inviting all its teams, past, present and future to its annual tournament. But this time theres a twist we are giving away £1000.

Past seasons have seen 32 teams from across London compete and this year it will be the same. All 200 + teams from its current leagues will be invited.

The group stages and finals will be held at the fantastic 3g pitches at Kensington 3g and Westway Sports centre. Click here for pictures and map.

The groups will take place between 3-5pm on Sat 23rd and then finals will take place following an hour break from 6-8pm.

Your closest tube station is Holland Park (10 Mins walk) or Latimer Road (2 minutes walk).

Entry cost is £100 and the cash prize for the winners will be a lovely trophy and £1000.

Format

8groups of 4 playing 20 minute matches all groups to start at 3pm. Group stages will finish by 5pm.

The top 2 of each group will then be invited back at 6pm for the final 16 where only 1 will walk away with £1000.

FAQ's

1) Who is invited? Only playfiveaside and corporate teams are invited so if your worried about the competition being rough and people biting each other for £1000 I wouldnt worry its always been a fantastic tournament for a greater cause.

2) Where does the money go? Well every year we donate the profits to charities of your choice. Feel free to email us what charities you are backing

3) Will there be food and drink? Yes we will have a BBQ and drinks stand by the pitches and both centres have their own vending machines.

4) Is there parking? Yes ample parking around the complex

5) Can I bring my wife/girlfriend and kids? Of course you can if we get a good number of girls willing to attend we can do something involving netball and if there are kids we can arrange for the creche to be used at the leisure centre.
