Comeback Complete

Individuals led 2-0 at half time as Ahmed scored both goals to put his team in the driving seat, 3 minutes into the 2nd half and Muz Ngwenya got a goal back for Frimponged to make it 2-1 but Matt Stewart gave Individuals their 2 goal cushion back just 2 minutes later making it 3-1. Mark Coleman reduced the deficit to 1 goal making it 3-2 but once again Matt got the 2 goal lead back just minutes later. In the last 10 minutes Frimponged scored 4 times as Yasin made it 4-3, Mark Coleman equalised making it 4-4 and then Luke Ward put his team ahead for the 1st time and it was “the inspiration” Muz Ngwenya scoring the last goal in the last minute to put the icing on the cake.

Simple its easy its …

Ahmed (Individuals) took both of his goals very well using his right foot to beat the keeper at his near post once and smash the ball past him for his 2nd.

Bullet

Tahir Cheema (Cosmo) powerfully struck his shot with a lot of venom in it to move the ball in the air and make it very difficult for the keeper to stop.

Cool as a cucumber

Tod Sleeman (Mums) was calmness personified in front of goal as he calmly slotted the ball into the bottom corner for his 2nd.

Hat trick hero

Hono (Mum Slappers) joined Tod scoring 3 as he was hoisted on the fans shoulders after the match

Showboat

Mark Coleman (You’ve) turned his opponents one way and another in his game as they felt like they were on a merry go round.

Sezar Gurbuz (Cosmo) was nicknamed ‘The Step-over King’ in his game for using that skill on too many occasions and still the opponents couldn’t read which way he was going to go!

Rock solid

Muz Ngwenya (Frimponged) was the rock at the heart of his team’s defence getting stuck into the challenges and encouraging his team that they could get something from this game if they just dig deep.

Super saves

Tom Barrel (Cosmo) made a couple of good saves in his game as he wasn’t very busy but when he was called upon he did his job well.

Amun Samra (Mums) denied LHS on many occasions making a number of stops conceding only 1 goal in each half.
