The Aston Thursday Premiership definitely looks like it will be a hard fought league with 3 hard fought victories earnt by the teams today. ABCDEFC, Dirrty Boys and Bisonours are joint top with the same goal difference after a game each. Bisonours beat Team Name 5-3 with Nico shining as he scored a double alongside team mate Pete to ensure them victory. Dirrty Boys also beat Penthouse Ponies 5-3 with Josh Nunoo netting a brace to get the MOM award to set him off where he ended last season! The final game saw ABCDEFC get revenge on Pollos from their fixture in the previous term as they won 4-2 with Callum taking the man of the match award scoring 2 of the goals for ABCDEFC.

End to end
The game between Penthouse Ponies and Dirrty Boys was end to end stuff. Dirrty Boys took a 2-1 lead into half time; captain charisma Khushal Morjaria scored the opener within the 1st 5 minutes, about 7 minutes later James Smith equalised for Ponies to make it 1 apiece but 3 minutes before half time Josh Nunoo put Dirrty Boys ahead. Then in the 2nd half it was anyone’s game for the taking as 4 goals were scored in 5 minutes as Khushal got his 2nd 10minutes into the 2nd half, a minute later Norton Poon got his name on the score-sheet to make it 4-1 to Dirrty Boys. A minute after this Ben Hankins got his 1st for Ponies and added a second to his name 3 minutes later to make it 4-3. In the last minute of the game Josh Nunoo killed off Ponies hopes of an equaliser by getting a 5th goal for Dirrty boys.
Netbusters
Alex Vafiadis (Pollos) finished his goal well hitting a powerful strike from distance putting it into the bottom corner with his right foot.
Unstoppable
Josh Nunoo (Dirrty) scored a very good goal that he hit into the top corner using his instep to place it out of the keepers reach.
Bullet
Pete (Bisonours) cut in from the wing onto his right foot to smash past the keeper with ease.
Showboat
Callum (ABCDEFC) brought out some silky skills in his game to beat opponents with his pace and get his name on the score sheet twice.
Picture Perfect
Khushal Morjaria (Dirrty) made some exquisite passes using superb vision and excellent technique.
Workhorse
Harvey Mandair (Team Name) was a powerhouse in his game despite losing he scored a hat-trick for his teams to try get something from it.
Rock solid
Norton Poon (Dirrty) made some good blocks putting his body on the line to protect his goal keeper. Alex Vafiadis (Pollos) was strong at the back getting stuck into the challenges to try get goals in the 2nd half.
Super saves
Gurps Grewal (Team) made some good stops to try keep his team in the game but was left exposed in the 2nd half.
Arold Ngang (Pollos) made a string of saves for his team in the 2nd half as they desperately tried to get back into the game.
