As the green pitches turned into an ice rink and everybody started dancing on ice the story was much the same where EA Sof and SBFC got comfortable wins against Madness and London Meteors respectively who are both caught up in the mid table battle. SBFC remain two points behind top EA Sof. Albion continue to stun and surprise with a walk over victory against Kantar as Kantar continue to tremble not because of the snow but for the fright of relegation. Bad Banters relegation woes continue after the Unknowns spanked them nicely whilst FC Dave pulled of the shock of the night grabbing 3 points against Scoregasms to continue their great escape. Scoregasms are now rock bottom.

No moaning on Thursdays
Despite the blistering snow from 745 onwards all teams got on with it eager to carry on the action in what turned out to be a thrilling set of affairs.
The great escape
Sam scored early on in the 2nd half to deliver all 3 points to FC Dave we are yet to see how important this goal is as Dave continue to climb out of the red. Scoregasms did have their chances but were let down by sloppy goals. Gerald for FC Dave also made some fine stops.
Hat trick hero
Rowdz (SBFC) was not messing about in the snow this week; with his skates on he completed his hat trick early on in the 2nd half.
5 a day
Unknowns hit 5 this week but it was down to their stamina and drive. Only 1-0 at the half it looked like Banter could sneak in but saves from Nick meant Unknowns could breath. In the 2nd half it was the Tiahan show as he got a total of 4 showing blistering pace throughout.
Goals of the day
Darren (Scoregasms) with the equalising goal scoring a great curler to lift the Scoregasms spirits
Bullet
Will (Albion) just no stopping this man and his charge to the golden boot, one of his strikes so quick even a speed camera couldn’t detect it.
Deadly duo
Ishmael and Didi (EA Sof) were on fire today, laid goals like chickens lay eggs.
You know it’s your week when…
Natai (SBFC) scores. Not often does captain fantastic put his name down but when he does it makes all the difference ;)
Packed
Chris Hanley (Kantar) made some astonishing saves but Albion were on it like a car bonnet with goal after goal in the 2nd half.
Rock solid
Mo (EA Sof) made some important tackles and crucial interceptions as he was the lone wolf at the back
The playmaker
Jake (Albion) was everywhere this week, like a Jake in the box (see what I did there). In a sensational Albion performance Steve and Ryan also scored with an own goal also helping them on the way.
Super saves
Giulio Gianni (London Meteors) I don’t know what it is when keepers play SBFC but they all perform amazingly and this week despite losing Giulio in the sticks received a MOM award for some cracking saves.
Player of the week
Tiahan Eeles (Unknowns)
Team of the week
Gk – Giulio Gianni (Meteors)
Def – Rowdz (sbfc)
Mid – Tiahan Eeles (Unknowns)
AMF – Ishmael (EA Sof)
St – Will (Albion)
