Repucom finished the season as undisputed champions and go through an entire season undefeated with a narrow victory against Reith. Reith as a result finish in their lowest ever position 3rd. Features completed their season with a bang with a 13 goal spanking a game that also told the tale for…..

Relegation

Red Star were given an advantage with a 5-0 win as Canvas FC pulled out, a sad way to end but despite this Star were not safe.  MSE were next up to bat and despite trying to revive their game late in the 1st half pulling it back to 4-2, Bodyworks West had no mercy and sent them to league one joining Cambridge University Netball team. The final place was between Star and Hackers. All hackers had to do was not get embarrassed but it all went pete tong as they started with 4 and even though they were on the big pitch notorious for low scoring games they were battered, stripped down naked and robbed as the Fulham Chronicle cameras took the snaps the Hackers walked away humiliated. Hackers will now face league one football.

Other action

Cambridge University were comfortable against Refine United in a game which ended disappointingly for Refine. Cambridge ended the right way and look to make a swift return to the championship.

Tight finish

Repucom were 2-0 up at half time due with Matt Lloyd and his superb double. Reith rovers weren’t going out without a fight. In the 2nd half Colin Barr scored a terrific goal to give them a chance of snatching a point of the league leaders, they had more than enough chances but Ashley was battering them out in the sticks for Repucom keeping their undefeated streak in tact.

Sexy football

Chronicle Hackers were absolutely dominated by Features who were on top form tonight as Jacques Salmon scored 5 times, Andy Trickett scored 4 times, Liam O Neill netted a double and there were individual strikes from Nick Woodrow and Rob Eade!

Blink of an eye

Brian Baker and Leroy (Bodyworks) smashed there shots into the back of the net in the opening minute and MSE really had to dig themselves out of a hole.

Going solo

Jacques Salmon (Features) ran through the whole team from inside his own half using pace and close ball control before slotting the ball into the bottom corner.

Move of the day

Kimo (Refine) finished off a great team move that started from the goalkeeper; he tucked it home with his right foot bending it away from the keeper

Not quite enough

Colin Barr (Reith) despite a tantalising goal was unlucky this week getting an A for effort his 2nd half strikes couldn’t land.

Hat trick heroes

Ryan Clarke (Cambridge) changed the game in the 2nd half with a great hat-trick to comfort his side and take the pressure off his team mates with some great runs and exquisite passes.

Andy Trickett (Features) scored a phenomenal hat-trick in his game showing a good eye for goal and being able to strike the ball well with either foot!

Honourable mention

Dan Plant (MSE) gave a tremendous defensive performance in the 2nd half being the sweeper, unfortunately the damage had already been done.

Rock solid

Rob Eade (Features) was a rock at the back protecting his goalkeeper well and helping him to earn a clean sheet in a great team performance!

Tim Smith (Cambridge) was solid throughout his game getting stuck into the challenges being as tenacious as a pit-bull!

Sean Gallagher (Repucom) was the man of the match in his game for defending really well and being full of energy to hassle opponents into making errors.

Super saves

Ashley (Repucom) kept out a number of chances from Reith Rovers mainly in the 2nd half as he previously kept a 1st half clean sheet.

Will (MSE) had a rollercoaster performance in between the sticks as he made both good stops but the damage was done early on despite saves the ball trickled into the net.
