Welcome to the opening week
Hold the back page as Season 3 starts its new team La Roja who start with a bang after thumping Madrid who in fact led at the half time break. In the battle of old vs. new the old boys won as Why Always us defeated Master Class 11 and finally Santander FC took down Soco. However you are reminded this is a marathon not a sprint. Long time left folks and plenty to play for

Half way hammer
Ross Sibbit (Soco) hit a thunderbolt from half way surprising the keeper as it rocketed into the bottom corner out of the goalies reach.
Hat trick not enough
Ben Paul (Madrid) scored a hat-trick to take the MOM award; he showed good finishes finding both the bottom corners in the 1st half having a great eye for the goal! Madrid were in fact 2-1 ahead at the half only for it all to unravel
Unstoppable
Charlie cracked open his account for Why always us as he nailed in 4, golden boot is certainly one of Charlies priorities this season.
Total football
La Roja were just simply in a different class, 5 players for on the score sheet Ignacio, Fernando, Alexis, Joaquin, and Pablo
Cool as you like
Jack Fry (Master Class) got himself 1 on 1 with the goalkeeper and beat him with ease confidently placing the ball in the top corner with his right foot!
Showboat
Richard Miller (Why Always) showed some good dribbling skills taking on opponents quickly and confidently using both feet to give defenders a nightmare!
Regular master of disaster
Ignacio Frutos (Santander) did some very nice dummies and brought out some silky step-overs using good quick feet keeping the ball moving at all times.
Ignacio Moro (La Roja) reminded the official of a young Ryan Giggs as he dribbled in and out of opponents making them turn dizzy!
Super saves
Ben Robinson (Soco) made some great 1 on 1 saves to try inspire his team to turn up the heat and get back into the game!
Ramon Valencia (La Roja) made some decent saves in his game stopping his opponents from reaching double figures and he succeeded!
James Winpenny (Master Class) made lots of good stops in between the posts and also distributed the ball to team mates with his hands and feet!
Rock solid
Kane Lewis (Master Class) did a lot of good defensive work being very disciplined making some good challenges.
Nick Eddy (Soco) was solid in the tackles being tenacious as a pit-bull to put opponents under heaps of pressure!
Edmund Cox (Why Always) made a couple of good last ditch tackles to prevent La Roja from scoring in the 2nd half so his keeper got a clean sheet!
