5* performance
Scott Carse and Ben of JMS gave their all in their game this evening working really hard in the attacking half of the pitch as they shared 10 goals between them! Ben took the MOM award for tracking back and defending well whereas Scott was his Waterboy ;)
End to end
Kaisers vs. Go Entertainers was a thrilling tie as both teams were ruthless in the attacking half of the pitch but needed to work on their defending. It was 4 apiece at half time as Des Murphy scored a 1st half double and Jonathan Lowe got the other 2 for Kaisers whereas Steve, Leigh Webb and a double from Rob saw Entertainers match their opponents. In the 2nd half Kaisers took a 2 goal lead as Ian Gill scored the opener in the 2nd half and Kyle added their 6th of the game to make it 6-4. Chris Reynolds got a goal back for Entertainers however Jonathan Lowe completed his hat-trick giving Kaisers their 2 goal lead back. Tom James scored a late goal for Entertainers but the game was dead and buried once Rhys Thatcher Jones converted his chance to end the game 8-6!
Comeback kings
After a Kevin double had put Iron men in front it was looking like it would be a long day at their outside office for the merlins. However Merlins unleashed their magic and cast a spell to magnetise the Iron Men with JT pulling it back to 2-1 and John grabbing a double before the break to make it 3-2. John continued in the 2nd half and made it 4-2 but the game finished very tense with Dan trying to get the Iron Men back into it. Alas merlins hold on
